This is a great tree for a photo of the sidewalk with the tree cascading over it into the Basin. Cherry Blossom Tree over the Sidewalk – over by the Roosevelet Monument there is a Cherry Blossom tree that has grown and leans down towards the Basin. Snap some photos of the water in front of the trees with the monument in the background. Continue along and now on the other side of the basin is the Washington Monument. Washington Monument and Tidal Basin – after visiting the Jefferson monument you will be on the opposite side of the Tidal Basin.As you start to circle the lake, try to find a good spot where the Cherry Blossoms frame the monument like in the very top photo.
